About Jason Gibson

Jason Gibson

"As a keen participant in amateur sports, mainly football, tennis and skiing, I've had my share of injuries and various treatments over the years and know first hand just how valuable they can be."

BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Remedial and Sports Massage and ITEC Level 3 in Holistic Massage

Jason originally started his career following in his father’s footsteps as a mechanical engineer to feed his hunger for discovering how things function. But after benefiting from soft tissue therapy himself, he developed a fascination with the biomechanics of the human body, which prompted him to change career and move into the field of massage and soft tissue therapies.

After qualifying as an Holistic Massage Therapist, Jason soon realised that as an engineer and perfectionist, he needed to know exactly how and why everything worked, and how to fix and prevent injuries he was coming across. This led to him enrolling on and completing the highest UK qualification, the BTEC Level 5, in Remedial and Sports Massage course, through the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage and the ISRM.

As well as working with the more active and sporty clients, Jason has a keen interest in helping the more elderly and less active amongst us regain some of their lost mobility. Soft tissue therapies along with some regular exercise can make a huge difference in the lives of the elderly.

Jason’s qualifications and engineer’s perfectionism, combined with his genuine, relaxed and easy going approach puts his clients at ease, while he strives to find the root cause of a pain. Thus ensuring his clients are always in the safest hands to find the best treatment for their particular situation.

Jason is qualified in both Holistic Massage at ITEC Level 3 and in Remedial and Sports Massage at BTEC Level 5. He is also a member of two of the governing bodies, the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM) and the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) through which he continues to undertake various CPD courses (Continued Professional Development) each year to enhance his knowledge of specialist techniques.
